Contact the Mountain View Riding Centre or the Willie Daly Riding Centre locally.
Walking and Hiking
There are many coastal walks in the area which take in spectacular scenery. Along local trails you can experience the essence of the Irish Coastal Countryside, and see for yourself the historical remains of churches, forts and castles which form such an important part of our local heritage.
Doolin is located on the Burren Way, which is a 123km linear walkway through The Burren in North Clare. Beginning at Lahinch, the Burren Way travels north through Doolin, and the Caher Valley to Ballyvaughan and then across the Burren via the villages of Carron and Corofin. The walk is a mixture of green roads, pathway, old roadway and minor roads.
Currently under development is the walkway from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher, which promises some of the most spectacular coastal walking in Ireland and which it is hoped will be completed in summer 2012.
Increasingly popular walking routes can be followed on an organised basis with experienced guides, and we are happy to provide you with further information and assist you in contacting some of our local guides if preferred.
